[Film] After "her"

There is one thing for sure after “her”: I will take female voice as OS system’s voice in case of falling love with system like Theodore does in “her”.

We are not Hello Kitty!

As the opening music begins ,we all know that this film is on its lonely way. The flying dust, the view of the night city  , wearing shirts and pants surrounded by swimming wear crowds on the beach, those scene are Director Spike Jonze builds for his lonely as well audience., a beautiful but lonely world.
It looks like a lunatic or a creep that u seem to talk to urself but  to ur system actually on the street nowadays. Can u imagine that everyone on the street keeps talking to themselves? It looks like a world filled with so many psychosis and let them walk on the street gracefully instead of grabbing them into therapy.But it is Theodore’s and everybody’s normal daily life in “her”  or, wait,  is it gonna to be our life in the future ? Communicating with other by email. No phone call, just email! The System we use treat us as infants,  it whispers to u to remind of  meeting time, or u can reply email by speaking to it . All u have to do is using ur mouth and ears to choose what u want just like a baby in the coddle do. no
Come on! Why not make a call to ur love one, we aren’t not hello kitty. Are we too afraid of intimate feeling to make a call? Or just we are so lonely that we rather talk to our systems than talk to friend? High-tech creates convenient way of living and distance far from friend at same time.

It always said that film reflects the true world. Oh , so sad.

Old-school style is a new story?

let’s take a glimpse at Theodore’s outfit: poetry styled curly hair and glasses, melancholy eyes, a little bit sexy mustaches, casual shirts, high-waist trouser , hold on , a high-waist trouser? Does he live in the high-tech world? The whole scene is set in a new future but why he wears such an old school things and his coworkers, pedestrians wear it too? As the matter of fact that fashion designers likes to put some out of style ingredients into contemporary clothing to create a new trend, but dude, I have no idea the Theodore’s outfit is way too back to live in that world.
It’s the most conflicting thing in the film, I mean, we all know that the high-waist trouser is aged, it has disappeared as long as dinosaurs. Since that, why he not be more fashion, and edgier?

Until the line from Samansa shows up makes me realize what is Spike Jonze’s purpose: Past is just a story we tell to ourselves.

And old clothing always tell u its story by its look, like ur dad & mom’s clothes do.

No wonder that Jasmine from “blue Jasmine” in Chanel all the time and keeps talking and talking to herself, maybe there is a mini mic on her ear as well, btw, her outfit will rock that time definitely.
