This time, the underwear expert, Beckham, has to face up to a new and
hard-to-deal competitor in the battle of men’s underwear, his name is David,
too. David Gandy, a 34-year-old British super model.
Enemy is everywhere.
Enemy is everywhere.
Cristiano Ronaldo is like a sticker sticks to Beckham from field to the market of underwear tensely. However, Beckham seems never sees him as a big threat. Yet this time, u really come up against a great opponent, Becks.
Another David is going to roll out his underwear collection with M&S.
In the filed, there is one David on the map and that is David Beckham. In the
fashion world, there is one David on the map too, and that is David Gandy. So
what will happen when their collection of underwear both launch this fall? (I
believe the happiest person is us!)
David Gandy teams up with Mark & Spencer to launch his own underwear
collection “Autograph” which will land in store on September 18. It is
not the first time that the high street giant, M&S, enlist model to design home wear. Yet
this is Gandy’s first time (so surprise that D&G never invites him as
designer for swim or underwear.
Obviously, they miss the great chance to strip Gandy again).
He designed and chose the fabrics for the collection in person and even designed the packaging box.
“I have to be honest, from sketching designs, choosing the fabrics, adding personal touches and even down to the packaging, I've been really involved and thoroughly enjoyed it”, he said.
And u know what, a lot of brands, including Beckham, love to put their names on the waistbands. Yet Gandy did it oppositely. ‘I didn’t want big waistbands with names,’ he said. The signature houndstooth print that features on the packaging and internal linings (to wit, if u want ur friend know the brief u wear is Gandy’s collection, u have to strip it down. Nice move, Gandy).

So which David will win this battle, or should I say which brand, H&M and
M&S, will take it? No matter who wins, to us, the most lovely thing is to
see two David lend their bodies to their campaign.
