[LGBT] Allies Show Their Weapon

After having an overwhelming victory in Ireland, LGBT’s power seems to be unstoppable.

In the wake of winning the referendum of same-sex marriage, this world is like on LGBT’s side. From celebrity, talented band to sport brand all launch their works to support LGBT in different ways. Let’s see what these LGBT allies have done to back them.

Next Gay Theme Song
First, this Dream Girls diva, Jennifer Hudson, released her music video “I Still Love You”. She shows her support for LGBT equality through this video, which tells a story about a father’s last-minute decision to attend his gay son’s wedding.

“I just think the concept was just powerful to go with such a positive song. It’s about love and everyone should have love and have the right to love who they want to love, So I thought it would be powerful to take a concept like trying to find your equality in love no matter who you love.” Jennifer told MTV.

She is so lovely, isn’t she? Continuing explaining the concept of video, she said “And everyone being able to choose whom they want to love and just accept each other as their own and just give love and receive love, just love and be happy people.”

I can imagine this song will repeat at every gay bar again, again and again.

(Guess what, super model Shuan Ross is at the end of it)

Love Affair
Another music video about gay affection is from talented band, Neon Trees. They debuted their latest video “Songs I Can’t Listen To” this week.

Surprisingly, there is a familiar guy who plays as frontman Tyler Glenn’s lover- Dustin Lance Black, aka Tom Dailey’s real-life boyfriend.

Yep, kind of shock I have to say. This Oscar-winning screenwriter sneaks into music video and plays as someone else lover. If I were Tom, I would visit the shooting studio everyday (Just kidding, this couple is so adorable, no one has a will to tear them apart)

Be Proud and Be Yourself With Your Shoes
To celebrating LGBT Pride month, adidas, Converse and Nike roll out their latest collection respectively to deliver their ideas of supporting LGBT.

“When walking together, each step forward matters. A portion of proceeds will go to New Avenues for Youth. #Superstar” this is the statement from adidas, which updates its signature sneakers with rainbow paint splatters.

“Nike is deeply committed to diversity, inclusion and unleashing the potential of all athletes,” said Tim Hershey, said Nike’s vice president of global merchandising. It released the whole bran-new line, #BeTrue line, benefit the LGBT sports coalition.

Honestly, no matter what intention they have behind the scenes, these latest goods are so trendy and cool. It’s the best outfit to put on if u haven’t decided what costume to wear.

Let’s be proud and be happy. This is the core what these allies want to demonstrate.
