[Series] He's with me - Who is man's best friend?

The affection between straight guys is called “bromance”. What’s the name of the affection between gay guy and straight guy? “Gromance”?

Gay is man’s best friend?
What happens when gay man has friendship with straight man? Actually, it’s a little awkward at the beginning. The web series “He’s with me” depicts this awkward but funny moment when friendship develops between Martin Adams(Gay) and Ted Adams(Straight). Why do I say “Awkward moment”? Pic these moment as below:

When they hang out together, the people on the street may perceive them as couple. When they go to sport bar to watch baseball game, they hug each other for celebrating their support team gets score but followed  by awakward silence. When Ted starts having taste on clothes and decoration, his straight friend think Martin should take full responsibility for turning his friend into being girly. Ted’s father worried his son will be assimilated as gay by Martin.

What makes these moments so awkward? The masculinity plays the crucial role.

Last article I wrote about the bromance, the study in England shows more and more heterosexual males develop their friendships by acting so intimately. 

It’s normal that two men have bromance. So why can’t homosexual male and heterosexual male be as close friend as heterosexual males are? My point is, Gay man is a man, too. Thus, why two straight men can have close friendship but gay man and straight man can’t?  What’s the problem? Does gay man offences the masculinity which straight guy owns? Or, straight man doesn’t want to be close friend with gay man as it may make him be considered as gay (or target of homophobic abuse) and it strikes down their masculinity? If not, why Ted is so anxious when his father comes to visit him?

However, take a look at what heterosexual males did to each other. Cuddle and spoon? These are so out of my mind (maybe I ‘m so old fashion) and gayer than what gay men did.

According to the series, Ted said to his father ”Martin is a friend who does listen, but Eddie (another straight man) doesn’t.”

It ‘s the really big difference between gay and straight man. Moreover, the article Alex Sangha lists 10 advantages of “Why Every Straight Man Needs A Gay Best Friend”. Such as, “Your gay best friend can help you outfit your wardrobe and you'll be out of the store on time and on budget.” “Your gay best friend would probably be a great person to talk to about sex, sexuality, and relationships.”While “Listen” is one of them. The most advantages for straight man is that gay can introduce you to tons of nice single ladies and “Your gay best friend may become your wife's friend too.”

Cause gay is girl’s best friend, too. (It can work on some homophobia situation)

However, Straight guys, don’t flatter urself that all gays want to have sex with u.(I know there are some gays live on preying on straight men, these are exceptions.) Save it, unless u r A. David Beckham, B Smoking sexy Male Model, and C. Supert hot succer.
