[Style] Is beard a new fine art? Obviously it is.

Beard is not just beard anymore. It’s not hyperbole to say beard is a contemporary art now.

Maybe it’s a little bit exaggerated (just a little), yet as long as u take a look at these beard style u will nod (or can’t believe what did u see) with me.

From facial hair to a pivotal accessory of hipster to
fine art, beard comes a long way. In the early time, beard and mustache are the symbols of social status. We can see how the facial hair represents the class well in  “The Grand Budapest Hotel

Nowadays, it doesn’t indicate any social status. It’s one of building block of fashion ensemble.

More and more fashion male models (male celebrities as well) with beard show up in the fashion world(and Hollywood). No matter his is as thick as Santa Claus’ or as thin as flattop of soldier’s. For u some instances, one of my fashion icons, Ricki Hall whose beard (and tattoos as well) makes his career and becomes his signature. Another rising beard model, Chris John Millington, has more and more jobs as he has great bread style. (Give u a hint, I will write articles about them in the near future.) They are
the tip of the iceberg.

I think Mr. Dali prompt this style.

However, some (crazy) beard men take beard to the next level. They make it a fine art by styling it. Can u imagine that they put some absolutely insane decorations on it, like tiny flags, flowers, even candles on fire to name a few. Some prolific men style it as octopus, spider or whatever it is. Even a company hides a furry animal in the beard as a campaign.

So, what’s next, beard man? Maybe one day
, chest hair will be another edgy art as well.
