[Cover] Are You "Cumberbitches" ?

“I’d take up arms against someone who was telling me I had to believe in what they believed or they would kill me.” (Oh! Such a braver, Mr. Cumberbatch)

Mr, Holmes, Benedict Cumberbatch(some guys think this name refers to “a batch of cucumbers” and “a wart on your foot.”) lands on the cover of Out Magazine Nov. issue and talks about his upcoming film “The Imitation Game”, a biopic about the gay mathematician Alan Turing, while how does the fame which comes with the asexual successful role, Mr, Holmes, brings some troubles to him.

Cumberbitches
To be frankly, he is totally not my type. I only see a cocky, acerbic, and distinctly asexual man who loves his coworker (or ”partner” for instead), Mr. Watson, deeply and secretly. Their relationship is far beyond bromance. The rapacious slash fiction community noticed their crazy and stupid love, hence, has turned Mr. Sherlock into a lustful cock monster. (I look forward to watching this new Sherlock in season 4)

Cumberbatch agrees that making Holmes and Watson gay is a way to remove other women from the picture as some Cumberbatch’s rabid fans name themselves as “Cumberbitches”.

“I think it’s about burgeoning sexuality in adolescence, because you don’t necessarily know how to operate that. And I think it’s a way of neutralizing the threat, so this person is sort of removed from them as somebody who could break their heart.”

A Brave Defender
As for his new film “The Imitation Game”, making a great splash in lots film festival and the role he stars, Alan Turing, may help him get into Oscar Award next year.  Alan Turing is a gay mathematician who broke the Enigma code used by Germany during the Second World War and saved a million lives yet died at his 41 caused by an accident everyone thought it was. However, as the matter of the fact, according to Out Mag, he was hounded in his last years by the authorities after being arrested for “gross indecency” with another man. Faced with imprisonment or a regimen of estrogen injections to “cure” him of his tendencies, he chose the latter.

“If you were intellectual, if you were gay, if you had any kind of liberal ideas, you were immediately a threat to national security. The irony is that Turing, who had the temerity to be gay and intellectual, was the last person to see himself as any kind of martyr. He wasn’t someone who purposefully put himself in the way of things as a protest — he was just a great role model for anyone who’s different or feels different,” says Cumberbatch.

Speaking of the gay and bullying, these two things are not strange to him. He is neither the bullying nor the victim. He is the brave defender. “I’d take up arms against someone who was telling me I had to believe in what they believed or they would kill me.”

He does put money where mouth is.

During his boarding school time, he not only stopped kids chasing a poor kid but went “your behavior is fucking disgusting. How would you feel if you were chased because you have a turban, or you were chased because of the color of your skin, or you were chased because of your religion? It’s about being an individual. You can’t tolerate that? Are you sick in the head?” (Now I can see why ur fans want to ne ur lovely bitches)

He has three movies scheduled for release between Thanksgiving and Christmas, let’s wait and see if Mr.
Turing can win him an Oscar next year.
