Have u put up with the drunk and annoying person who disturbed you while you sunk urself into music in live house? Here is a thought crosses ur mind “I rather lay on my cozy couch and listen to CD without those drunk jerks”. No worries anymore, Sofar Sounds will save ur life from those evils.

It brings band to ur living room.

U are not the only guy who can’t stand anymore with irritating jerks in live house, especially ur favorite band is on stage. Now, get rid of them and back to the coziest and quietest place to enjoy the music where is, ur HOME.

Imagine sitting in your living room listening to a band u are crazy for, and this band is not on TV or on ur computer screen, they are playing in front of u, yep, the real guy who stands in ur living room and plays.

This is what “Sofar Sounds” doing, which started 2009, in a tiny North London flat. Now, it is a worldwide event.

It initially started because Rafe and Rocky, the organizers, who got irritated by the live house jerks then decided to have a gig in their living room. “We hosted three young artists who played to a carefully selected audience of true music lovers. And after that show, those people went and told their friends... “  they said. U have already known what happened after their first event.

Sofar Sounds make an intimate connection between fans and bands. The limited instruments they play get them closer to fans and the people who first heard them during the night (u have to admit that ur living room is not a arena which can’t provide the band with the best equipments). 

The Night Fill with Quiet and Equality
Everyone and every band is equal in the event, no matter who u are or what level the band is at, just enjoy the music as well.

When I checked Sofar Sounds on Youtube, it totally blew me away, unbelievably amazing. It like a music venture which not only gets back to purity of music but puts a lot talent musicians on stage ( this stage is ur living room, FYI). Besides, u can meet a lot of lovely people and prodigious musicians in ur or others’ living room.

The boldest thing is the line-up is likely a lottery, you won’t know who will play in front of u until you get their.

The event is not confined to living room now, to wit, the location where can accommodate between 40-60 music fans such as your backyard or even in a van is called the stage.

FYI, if u are the live house jerks and want to join Sofar Sounds event, u have to be a good boy or girl like ur mother wants u to be, or u will be threw out as that’s somebody’s living room!
