[Style] Free Guy's Body

What happened if u sexualized women?
Drawing a lot criticism, ur twitter is blown up and u will get a title as a big asshole.

Yet, what happened if u sexualized men?
Nothing!  And I have never heard that u will named as jerk when u sexualized men.
There was an article in Out Magazine Feb issue caught my eyes, Objectify Yourself, which was about male self-objectification and and “gender flip”. As a big fan to anything about sexual identity, how can I miss this article!

This is what social media teaches us
In the past, female model used to take the helm of the fashion industry, on AD campaign, runway, and editorials. Male models are more like a minor supporting role on these, sometimes, u even can’t see male model’s face in campaign.

However, this thing has been changed. U can see more sexy male models show their streaming glittering abs and pecs without embarrassing with female model. Moreover, some luxury brands even only get male models to shoot it’s campaign. It the past, this was considered as a weird or what-the-hell-is-it one, but today, people loves it. But, why?

Because women and gay men wants them and heterosexual men wants to be them.

In my opinion, the factor brings man to freedom is social media, especially Instagram. U can see a lot of guys take selfie in buff (or nearly naked as well) and these kinds of people get avalanching followers and likes (I think most followers are women and gay). Even James Franco admits that selfie does have great power to catch attention (so, he took semi-naked selfies and it did went viral everywhere).

Everyone needs something to please his/her eyes, right? So, why not let those bodies free from tight suit?

From David to David
Some stars know this upcoming power as well. In the article, it mentioned Channing Tatum’s performance is Magic Mike, Zac Efron stripped for The Awkward Moment and onstage at the MTV Movie Award (no surprise, it hit headline next day), Dan Obsorne appeared everywhere with his tiny speedo, mega tattoos and pecs, and even went nude for Attitude Nake issue (that was hot, HOT!)  It’s not only for male models can show off their asset.

If u want to go semi-naked or nude for photo shoot and want to rationalize it at same time, shooting for underwear or swimwear is a great choice.

Look David Beckham, how many seasons did he collaborate with H&M? who knows and who cares? The only thing we remember and care is will he only wear his brief again, don’t we?  Why, u may ask. He is God damn David Beckham, who doesn’t want to see him naked with his mega tattoos.

Another David is kind of professor of showing his body without being shy and hesitated,  he is David Gandy. I think he blazed the trail for librating men’s body and proved that male model can sale products too. From perfume campaign, fashion runway to underwear designer, he takes the advantage of his sensual body and showcase that man can be objectified.

And u know what, u won’t get any blame on it.
