This news is huge either in fashion industry or in gay porn film industry, porn star, Colby Keller, is the newest face Vivienne Westwood’s SS16 campaign.

In addition, he goes full frontal for it.

Maybe you think that “what’s a big deal a porn star goes full frontal? Come on, he is porn star, being stripped off in front of camera is the basic thing for his job and u know what, I have seen his goods for innumerable times”.  Vivienne Westwood is known for her rebel heart (sorry, Madonna). As a fashion designer and a activist, she usually wields her designs like a weapon to call for attention to climate changing. “Mirror the World” is the title of her SS16 campaign that is shoot in Venice, a city need to save it urgently.

This campaign is aimed at raising awareness on environmental conservation through couture.

However, I have no idea what is the connection between porn star and environmental conservation and Colby Keller doesn’t know why he was casted either. He guesses maybe his fashion designer friend sent some photos of him to Westwood’s husband, Andreas Kronthaler. Maybe Keller and Westood happened to attend a consignment auction


No matter what, if the purpose Vivienne Westwood wants to do is rising awareness, I think she does a goo job. This collaboration has gone on viral since the campaign was revealed.

According to his wiki, art is really his heart, graduating of The Maryland Institute College of Art, with a Master of Fine Arts (MFA), Visual and Performing Arts. You can tell how much he loves art.

It is interesting that he turns porn film into art project, he tries to blur the boundary between art and sex, however, this idea is still very controversial.  i think the only boundary between them is depending how you call or see this kind of project. If you put sex tape in a gallery, we label it as an art, but what happens if u put same sex tape on porn website? still an art or a porn film?
